Can my Hashrate Contract be suspended or terminated?

Bitcoin mining is influenced by many factors, including Bitcoin price, network difficulty, electricity costs, mining efficiency, and overall operating conditions. As these conditions change, mining rewards may increase or decrease over the life of your contract.

If Bitcoin's price declines significantly – or if other factors make mining operations economically or operationally impractical – Ridgeline may temporarily adjust or suspend mining operations while conditions are evaluated. In certain circumstances, Ridgeline may also determine that continuing a contract is no longer commercially viable. These rights are described in your Hashrate Contract.

Whenever possible, our goal is to continue providing uninterrupted mining service. When disruptions occur, we will evaluate the circumstances and determine the most appropriate course of action based on the specific situation. Depending on the reason for the interruption, this may include:

  • Resuming mining operations when conditions improve

  • Extending the contract term to compensate for qualifying downtime in accordance with Ridgeline's published policies

  • Relocating infrastructure or making operational adjustments

  • Terminating the affected contract if continued operation is not commercially or operationally feasible

Our objective is to operate responsibly while protecting the long-term stability of our infrastructure and our customers' interests.
