Restricted countries and eligibility

Created by Support Ridgeline Mining, Modified on Thu, Jan 29 at 2:55 PM by Support Ridgeline Mining

Ridgeline Mining complies with all applicable U.S. laws, regulations, and sanctions requirements. As a result, we are unable to offer Bitcoin mining services to users in certain countries or regions.

Why some countries are restricted

Restrictions are based on:

  • U.S. government sanctions and trade controls

  • Anti–money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorism financing (CTF) regulations

  • Compliance requirements for digital asset services

These rules are outside of Ridgeline’s control and may change over time.

Who cannot use Ridgeline Mining

Ridgeline cannot provide services to:

  • Users located in sanctioned or embargoed countries

  • Users who are nationals or residents of restricted jurisdictions

  • Entities or individuals listed on applicable government or international watchlists

Access may also be restricted if required by law, regulation, or compliance partners.

How this affects users

  • Eligibility is evaluated during account creation and may be reviewed periodically (By creating an account, you confirm that you are not located in, nor a national or resident of, any country or jurisdiction restricted by U.S. sanctions or regulations. Ridgeline Mining reserves the right to restrict, suspend, or close accounts as required by law.)

  • Accounts found to be in violation may be suspended or locked

  • Active contracts may be paused or terminated if continued service is not legally permitted

  • Users will be notified if their account status is affected

Does this list change?

Yes. Restricted jurisdictions may change based on updates to U.S. sanctions programs, regulatory guidance, and/or compliance and risk assessments. For this reason, Ridgeline does not publish a fixed country list in advance.
